El Paso Intelligence Center (EPIC) Roof Replacement Project

The E.P.I.C. facility roofing project demolished, removed, and replaced approximately 88,000 Sq. Ft. of an existing rubber membrane (EPDM) roof system over an occupied and functioning federal facility. This was achieved by strict scheduling and coordination with the sub-contractors, users, and involved officials.

  • Scope of Work

The project included the scheduled shutdown, startup, removal, and relocation of several pieces of existing rooftop equipment, HVAC units, boiler penthouse package, and several water and gas lines. This was performed while simultaneously installing the new TPO roof, retrofitting roof drains and metal cap system, lightning protection system, new rooftop access ladders, and repairing all damaged insulation for the existing piping.
