BP14 – Lancaster & Le Barron Park ES Additions and Renovations

Aztec Contractors, Inc. served as the Prime Contractor the new construction of two new 13,819-SF multi-purpose buildings totaling 27,638 SF. One building is constructed as the Lancaster ES and one at the Le Barron ES. Each building features a state-of-the art kitchen, cafetorium, teacher’s lounge, stage, and support facilities. The scope of work at these two facilities includes steel columns, metal stud walls with EIFS, metal panels, demolition, earthwork, exterior improvements, utilities, metals, woods, plastics, composites, thermal and moisture protection, openings, finishing, specialties, equipment, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Work includes concrete footings, concrete tilt-up walls, slab on grade, steel joists, texture wall paint, single ply roofing membrane, and exterior covered areas. Interior work at both Elementary schools include painted gypsum wall board metal stud, acoustical lay-in ceiling tile V.C.T. flooring with rubber base ceramic title wall wainscot, quarry tile flooring in kitchen with ceramic tile walls vinyl faced ceiling kitchen, stainless steel commercial type kitchen equipment, and a permanent stage with curtain. Exterior work includes site demolition, earthwork, concrete walkways, landscaping, irrigation, decorative rockwalls, and interior lighting.
