The Advantage Rent -A- Car Project consisted of two different construction improvements at the new El Paso International Airport Parking Garage. An administrative field office on the first floor next to the parking garage floor levels, and the distribution rental and return vehicle area on the second floor parking garage. The Administration Field Office is a 660 square car rental office fully operational with, two management offices, employee breakroom, and entry greeting room. The Administration Field Office is also equipped with CCTV features, IT features, and national networking. The Advantage Rent a Car field office was a ninety day business improvement project to a new Split face block shell, newly constructed by the general Contractor who also constructed the parking garage for the City of El Paso. The improvement consisted of lite gage framing, drywall, painting, flooring, hollow metal frames, hollow metal doors, hardware, architectural woodwork, plumbing, HVAC, electrical, IT wiring, CCTV install, and acoustical ceilings.
The second part of the Advantage Rent -A- Car Project consisted of the commercial improvement for the rental and return of motor vehicles. The new construction Improvement engulfed the installation of an exit 40 square foot per-fabricated parking garage booth, a customer 120 square foot pre-fabricated service booth, three motorized hydraulic gate arms, and a fully striped 6000 square foot parking garage floor for rental car returns and or customer rentals. Other accessory features included heavy gage rubber bumper guards at columns, card readers, car rental signage, CCTV features, IT features, and computer networking at the customer service booth. Installed booths had refrigeration units and have full electrical installation.
Aztec Contractors, Inc. worked in a partnership with the several City of El Paso agencies, such as the El Paso Fire Department, El Paso City Engineering, El Paso City Building Development, and with the El Paso International Airport.
