Aztec History- When it comes to the story of Aztec Contractors; it’s all about family, a love for building and West Texas.
The company was founded by Frank X. Spencer in 1989 and sold to his son Frank Spencer III in 2006. With his purchase of the company, Frank brought a combination of financial lending and continued a family legacy of building.
It was just a natural step for the fifth generation Spencer to venture in to the construction business. Frank was reared in Pecos, Texas and graduated from New Mexico Military Institute, and then followed with at Bachelor of Arts degree at Texas A&M University.
The family building legacy began with his father, Frank X. Spencer. It has been largely through Frank X. Spencer’s efforts that Aztec Construction has been synonymous with quality construction, integrity, and professionalism throughout Southwest Texas.
